THE GALLOPING HORSES
Circa 1920 of English Origin were built by Savage of Kings Lynn, a well known manufacturer of this type of ride.
They have retained their popularity since the end of the nineteenth century,because of their suitability for all age groups and their high visual impact.
Despite the extensive range of rides available today,Galloping Horses
will always be synonomous with fairgrounds.
Entertainment of Yesteryear were delighted to add the Galloping Horses to
their collection in 2005, completing their Old Tyme Fairground.

THE HELTER SKELTER
Circa 1900 Of English Origin It was built, along with four others in the early 1900s by Griffiths and Morgan of Shepherds Bush, London.
It travelled widely during the pre and post war years making an appearance at many historic fairs.Purchased by Entertainment of Yesteryear in 1978, it has since landmarked many Agricultural and County Shows and became the starting point for
Entertainment of Yesteryears Old Tyme Fair.
It is the only complete wooden example still on tour, ornately decorated in a traditional style and we are proud to offer this unique ride for your event.

THE CHAIR-O-PLANES
Circa 1920 of German Origin
first became popular on British Fairgrounds in the 1920s,being exported from Germany up to and during the Second World War.
They were a thrill ride of their time, and remain popular with all ages.
Very few original examples still remain, as many were destroyed during the war.
The Chair-O-Planes have been travelling as part of Entertainment of
Yesteryear's Old Tyme Fairground since the early 1980's, and we are proud to offer this rare example of a superb old tyme ride for your event.

THE FERRIS WHEEL
Circa 1940 of American Origin
was built by American manufacturers Eli Bridge,
and imported into Britain in 1944.
No Old Tyme fair would have been complete without a Ferris Wheel,
enjoyed by young and old alike.
The ride was operated by various owners, primarily in the south,
until 2000, when it became part of Entertainment of Yesteryears
Victorian Fairground, proving to be a very popular addition.It was
completely refurbished to a traditional style in 2003.
We are proud to offer this stunning example of an old tyme favourite.
